Create a garden in the classroom using some of the foods Vicky planted in her garden, such as potatoes, carrots, or peas. Discuss different things to grow and what is needed. Plant and care for the garden, keeping a class journal on the length of time and amount of work needed to cultivate the plants before they are ready to eat.
